Christian started playing in goal in 2007. Before 2007, he played mostly defense.

2008 Season

Christian était d'âge atome cette année mais jouait au niveau pee wee. Le niveau atome comptait 14 gardiens pour 5 équipes à Dieppe, une situation hors de l'ordinaire. Puisqu'il manquait des gardiens au niveau pee wee, deux gardiens de niveau atome ont monté de niveau.

2007 Season

His team entered five tournaments … they won three and made it to the semi finals in the other two.

2007.03.08 to 11. 5th tournament, Tracadie-Sheila

After losing their first game 4-1, the Black Hawks bounced back to win their next two games by scores of 4-0 and 3-2 to advance to the semi finals in this 12 team tournament.

In a hard fought game, the Black Hawks were beaten 6-5 by the Péninsule Acadienne team that had beaten them in the first game of the tournament (in the semi final game, all of their goals were scored by the same player, wearing #2).

The Péninsule Acadienne team is the same team that the Black Hawks had defeated in the finals of the Bouctouche tournament.

2007.02.21 to 25. 4th tournament, Dieppe/Memramcook

12 teams were entered in the stronger of two atom divisions. The Black Hawks won their three round robin games by scores of 5-0, 8-2 and 8-6. They advanced to the semi finals and lost to a very strong Grand-Sault team (the eventual tournament champions) by a score of 8-3.

2007.02.04. 3rd tournament, 3rd championship

The Black Hawks won their third tournament of the year, and like their first tournament, they won in a convincing fashion. A print size version (10x6 inches, 300DPI, ~1.13MB) is available.

2007.01.06. 2nd tournament, two championships

The Black Hawks won their second straight tournament. This one proved to be a real test as compared to their first tournament. They needed 3 overtimes to win the semi final. In the final, they were trailing 5-4 entering the 3rd period but came back to post a 6-5 win (print size photo not yet available).

2006.12.29. Miramichi Tournament Champions

The Dieppe Black Hawks outscored their opponents 55-3 in 5 games (they won the tournament final by a score of 8-1, the opposing team scoring their goal with only 7 seconds left on the clock).
