A regional initiative, we are working on the creation of a high school ringette league. When girls get to high school age, there are only a small number of competitive teams affording limited opportunities for those who wish to continue competitive play. Plus, several girls decide to switch to girls hockey given that local high schools do have girls' hockey teams.

The logo for the MRL (and the Riverview Devil Rays) has been finalized. You can view the various versions on the MRL website.

Below is what I propose for the league logo. What are shown are a full size version and a stamp version. Note that the text in the printed versions will come out darker (but I left it light on purpose as not to drown out the red silhouette). Also, in the stamp version I have inserted the accronym within the gray circle whereas it is not present in the full logo. (Logos have many uses and at times a smaller version that still represents your 'brand' is required whereas in other situations it is better to have legible wording).
